One evening at Tabsai, I saw a big cloud in a very strange shape on the sky. It was very low and I was thinking about a big storm. So I didn't prepare my gear coz thought it'd be too windy. Anyway my friends were preparing and it came out that they all had a really good evening session and I missed it. Anyway, the good thing was I had a chance to take photos to show you now.
I've been together with Lek and Pong visiting Joe at his new house location by Khao Sam Muk. The wind was incredible I was super over powered with 5.6m Severne S-1 sail on Starboard Kode 102. It was a bit tricky to go out as we had to swim for at least 50m while trying to water start in the super strong gusty wind.
Pong was on 5.7m sail and was too over poered so he was fighting for about an hour and gave up.
Lek was on 4.7m sail and 80l board but was still super over powered, anyway he sailed with me for about 3 hours. What's an incredible session!!!
At the evening of the same day as my Kho Sam Muk trip I came back to Tabsai and we had a really good party together. Lots of smiling faces and over talking about how they made it so good in the super windy day. The night was so cold and it was windy again intry morning. I still was over powered on my 5.6 and 102m. I've been sailing to in front of Bang Saen area for good wind there. My friend on bigger sails has to stay in front of Tabsai coz the wind got stronger and we sailed farther from Tabsai towads Bang Saen. Another good windy day at Tabsai!!!
I've been delivering windsurfing boards (6 of them in 2 tripple board bags) to Sven Akerboom for testing. I arrived at Jibes around 11pm everybody were ready to party that's how the fun begin. Lots of friends party and fun, a bit of windsurfing ;-)
I've been to the wake board Camp of Tina. We had good wakeboard sessions in the day and party at night. A really cool place to hang up with friends. Lots of friends joined my Poi session, lots of nice scenes and lots of laughing especially when somebody crashed the fire on his body (what's a good friend). Our boat driver got it right on his head, enjoy.... ;-)
23Hrs Bangkok-Narita-Honolulu-Maui fincludes transit or going and same route but 24Hrs on the way back just to spend 2 weeks with Starboard crew for their photo shooting. It's my furthest trip ever both distant and time. Maui or the Capital or the Mecca of windsurfing. All guys from magazines were packed in here. I saw half of them at a bar in one night I saw the other half at Hopika the next day.
The wind and waves were incredible. I had a chance to travel and live on my own during my last 4 days, one day without wind the other three were 4.7m and 80L from a bit under power to so much over powered.
